We want to let you know that our colleague and good friend Lorna will be leaving Ability Bow to take on an exciting new role at a national charity. She is torn to be leaving, but feels that she is being offered an incredible opportunity and after much soul searching she accepted the job and she starts there after Christmas.

Ability Bow join St Paul Old Ford for Christmas fair

 

We want to invite you to our first ever Christmas Jumble Sale on Saturday December 16th . It is in partnership with St Paul Old Ford Church who will be providing a wonderful Christmas Fair from 11am - 2pm featuring family entertainment, games, crafts, food and drink , mulled wine and much more ! Entry to the fair is free. 

£5888 from the Coop Community Awards !

We would like to extend warm thanks to you for supporting Ability Bow in the Coop Local Community Fund. Thanks to The Coop members and everyone who nominated Ability Bow over the last 6 months we will receive an incredible £5888.06 towards our It's Never too Late exercise project which will be delivering health and well-being activities to frail/isolated older people to increase mobility, independence and social contact.

Vote for us in the Aviva Community Fund !

 

Please help us to win up to £10,000 to work with more disabled people and people with long term health conditions. Our ‘Join in’ project will be funded for 1 year if we can secure the Aviva Community Fund grant. 

Volunteer or run for Ability Bow on October 29th

Ability Bow is a team of dynamic and committed individuals striving to support people with disabilities to get fitter and more independent. Our team works with over 400 clients each year and enable people to transform their lives for the better. Every year we take part in fundraising events, with teams of supporters participating in events and raising money for Ability Bow through sponsorships and pledges. In short, we are always trying to generate funds in all sorts of ways.
