Rest in Peace James Elliott & Chris McMuck

It is with deep sadness that we announce that gym members Professor James Elliott and Chris McGuigan sadly passed away over the festive holidays.

We are sorry to say goodbye to Prof. James Elliott our friend and client, known in our centre as the Professor, he passed away on Dec 30th 2015. Our team feel honoured and grateful to have met James who was attending our gym every week for nearly 3 years , we are glad to have known him and to have been able to support him during his time with us. RIP Professor James

Very sadly we also say goodbye to gym member Chris McGuigan fondly known as Chris McMuck who passed away on 24th Dec 2015.

Chris was a great champion of Ability Bow and brought us the wonderful Brick lane Village Fete fundraisers in 2013 and 2014! These were big events which took a lot of work by Chris and his team for which we are truly grateful. Chris cared greatly about his community and charitable causes and raising funds for us through his highly respected position as beloved Shoreditch entrepreneur and club founder.
Not only was Chris so very loved by his huge amount of friends and family he was also well known and respected in the music /club community "Chris McMuck was highly influential in creating Shoreditch as it is today. He managed & promoted some of the most popular and underground clubs throughout the early 90’s into the mid 00’s. He was a booker, promoter, PR whizz kid, music label compiler, magazine publisher, and most of all he brought a vast amount of creative people together.” In 2005 he was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis.

We are very sad to say to goodbye to Chris but honoured to have known him. You can read more about Chris here : http://www.thelondonword.com/2014/07/my-london-chris-mcmuck/
